Ulta Beauty at Target
Ulta Beauty will now be inside Target stores, and it will provide an immersive experience as it is designed as a “shop-in-shop” feature. It will be located next to Target’s very own beauty section. The partnership was created as a way to help introduce Target’s loyal customers to brands that are not available there.
The one-stop-shop is known for carrying brands like No7 and Sonia Kasuk; however, Ulta Beauty has always had a more expansive selection of brands, and they will now be able to enhance the beauty shopping experience at Target. Some brands will include Colourpop, UOMA Beauty, Lancome, and more.

The CEO and chairman for Target, Brian Cornell, said that the company couldn’t be happier when it comes to bringing together these two trusted brands as it’s a way to redefine the retail beauty experience. He also added that the partnership would bring together Target’s high and fast-growing beauty business, their ease and convenience, with Ulta Beauty’s expansive beauty assortment, guest loyalty, and category expertise.
Target is planning on training its staff to be able to provide the same consultative services that Ulta’s customers receive at their regular stores. The one-stop-shop also has same-day contactless fulfillment services including Drive-up, Shipt, and Order Pickup, which will all be available for Ulta Beauty product purchases at participating locations.
The partnership between Target and Ulta Beauty is set to launch in 2021.
