Father Sends Hilarious Text Threatening to Leave the Family Group Chat

It may not be a problem for the tech-savvy generation, but for their elders, it can be a struggle to keep up with everything that goes on within the little screen of a cell phone. That’s exactly what occurred with one father of a family, who recently went viral for sending a hilarious text saying that he wanted to quit the group chat. The reason? He couldn’t keep up anymore with the steady torrential flow of messages!

Allison D’Orazio recently shared on Twitter a screenshot of a text from her father Thomas. Thomas informed that he was getting out of the group by explaining that he couldn’t cope with the pressure of interacting with every text, photo, and video, sent by the group members, which seemed to cross millions! As per his funny text, it was too much pressure for Thomas to always ‘like’ or ‘lol’ or ‘heart’ everyone’s pics, texts, and random thoughts. Addressing the group members and their future texts, he also added that he would love them, laugh at them, like them, or dislike them, depending on their quality, but he couldn’t live with this eternal pressure anymore.

The Family

In a follow-up tweet, Allison later explained that her father was actually surrounded by a bunch of extroverts in the family group chat, while he himself loves just a simple life. She also revealed that it was possibly her texts that got on the nerves of his poor father. When asked about her viral tweet, Allison told the press that she was sending pictures of her sewing project with every single stitch! Allison’s sister Alexa and mother Amy are also on the busy group chat. According to Allison, all three of them are extroverts and goofy and used to send random stuff in the chat all day long, which obviously stressed this father out. Allison revealed that Thomas didn’t leave the group chat, but no one knows if he muted it.
